Send video messages via text from your personal phone number!
To text a Covideo from your phone using your personal phone number, you will want to make sure you have our mobile app downloaded from either the App Store or the Google Play Store.
Step by Step: How to text a Covideo using your own phone number/messages app.
1. Log into your Mobile App
2. Locate the video you want to text
Find your video by scrolling or using the search icon at the top of your video library. Once you find the video, you want to text out and select the "Share" icon.
3. Check your video landing page and calls-to-actions
On the SMS Share tab, select your landing page and calls-to-action links. Then click "Share" again.
4. Enter your recipients contact information
Your phones messaging app will pull up. Enter in the contact or phone number in the "To:" field
5. Click Send!
Congratulations! You have just sent out a Covideo by text!
Covideo's SMS Feature
Covideo also offers an SMS feature so you do not have to send your video from your personal phone number. We will provide you with a unique phone number so you can text directly from your Covideo mobile app or Covideo website. Learn more by clicking on the button below:
*UPDATE 2/26/2025 - We're currently experiencing an issue with SMS delivery through our app due to new FCC regulations affecting many text providers nationwide. We're actively working with our SMS provider to resolve this as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can still use Covideo to record and email videos to your customers. As a workaround for SMS, try using the steps listed above to paste your Covideos directly into your CRM or preferred text messaging application.
