If you have just recorded a video and do not hear any sound, you may have to check a few settings to ensure your microphone works properly.
Are you on a web-based recorder?
- Make sure your volume on your computer is turned up and on.
- In your Covideo account, click on the gear icon at the top right of your web-cam to check your camera and audio sources.
- Make sure your microphone is selected from the Covideo mic/camera settings.
- Make sure you are in a compatible web browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
Are you using our Google Chrome Extension?
- Make sure your volume on your computer is turned up and on.
- Make sure before you record to check your video and audio sources. Underneath the screen, camera, and both options, click on the microphone icon.
- Make sure your microphone is selected from the drop-down list.
Are you using our Covideo Mobile App?
- Make sure the Covideo app has permission to access your phone's camera and microphone.
- You can go into your phone settings>apps>covideo app>app permissions>make sure Covideo is allowed to access your camera, microphone, and all other options.
