The Covideo integration for VinSolutions makes recording, sending and tracking videos easier than ever before. With the integration, users can record and send videos to their contacts from Covideo and have all activity - sends, opens, CTA clicks and video views - log under that contact inside VinSolutions.

See how to use Covideo's integration with VinSolutions.

Tracking Customer Activity

When a contact engages with your video, their activity will automatically show up under their Customer Record in VinSolutions - no extra manual work on your part required.

Step 1: To see your customer activity, navigate to their Customer Record in VinSolutions.

Note: If the recipient you’ve sent a video to isn’t a current lead or customer in VinSolutions, a new lead will automatically be created for you!

Step 2: Scroll down to the customer's "notes & history." Information like videos sent, opens, views, and CTA clicks will automatically be recorded here. This allows you to see exactly when your message was opened, when your video was viewed, and if any CTA buttons were clicked.

Step 3: Under each entry, you will be able to see the date and time of the activity, as well as the video URL, the email subject line, and a preview of the message that was included with your video. For more details on the specific action taken, you can click on the note for more information to appear.

Enabling the Covideo Integration in VinSolutions

In order to enable the Covideo integration, the customer's admin will need to make the request for the integration to be turned on within Vin.

Step 1: First go into your Settings, then navigate to Dealer Settings.

Step 2: Go to “Partner Enablement” under Dealer Settings.

Step 3: Scroll down and find Covideo, then flip the switch to enable or disable.

Step 4: Confirm each box, then hit accept.

Step 5: Someone from the Covideo team will have to confirm the request, which may take up to 24 hours.

Step 6: Once confirmed, any activity associated with the videos you send from Covideo will be recorded in your VinSolutions account.
