After your Salesforce Admin has added the Covideo integration to your Salesforce account, you'll have the ability to record, add, and send a video within your Salesforce account.

Important note: You can only send to one recipient at a time when using the SF integration because you're doing it from the lead and/or contact section/.

Let's get started!

Step-by-Step: How to Use Your Covideo Salesforce Integration

How to Add a Covideo

Step 1: Open the" lead" or "contact" that you want to message

.

Can't see Covideo in your Salesforce account? Seek out your Admin to get Covideo installed.

Then switch to the “Covideo” tab and login into your account. Here, you can insert an existing video into the email or record and add a new one.

Step 2: Add your video

Clicking “Add Video'' brings up your Covideo library, where you can search through your videos and navigate between folders.

When you’ve found the video you want to send, select it.

Step 3: Select the landing page, calls to action, and thumbnail you want to use

Click “done.” The video will appear in the body of the email.

How to Record a New Video

Step 1: Click "Record video."

To create a new video, click “record video.” You can choose to record your webcam, screen, or both at the same time. As well as selecting your camera and microphone sources.

Step 2: Webcam recordings

Select the webcam option. To begin your video, click “Start recording,” then wait for the countdown.

Hit “stop recording” when you’re done. Now you can preview your video, start over, or - if you’re happy with it - give it a title and upload it.

Then select your landing page, calls to action, and thumbnail.

The video will then be uploaded to your library and automatically added to your email.

Step 4: Screen recording

Select between "Screen Only" or "Screen + Cam." Then choose the screen, application window, or tab that you want to record.

You can move and resize your webcam for optimal placement as well.

When you're ready, click “share” and wait for the countdown. Once you’re done, click the “stop” button.

Now you can preview your video, start over, or give it a title and upload it.

Don't forget to select your landing page, calls to action, and thumbnail!

The video will then be uploaded to your library and automatically added to your email. Now that your video is in the email fill out the rest of the message and send it off.

Additionally, clicking on the gear and selecting “settings” will open some more options for you to change, including video quality.

How to Track Your Video Emails

Locate the "Lead" or "Contact" Activity

Within the "Lead" or "Contact," you will find the Covideo activity section in your Salesforce account.

Use data like video views, Hotspots, and CTA clicks to learn more about your video's engagement levels and inform your next steps.
