Covideo Mobile App Updates

New Features

  • Native Social Sharing: You can now share videos directly to your personal social media accounts using the built-in Android and iOS native share.

Enhancements

Security Enhancements

  • Enforced SSO: To increase account security, if Single Sign-On (SSO) is activated for your account, the standard Covideo credential login will be disabled. SSO is now strictly enforced.

  • Username Recovery: We’ve removed the "Desktop-only" barrier. You can now recover a forgotten username directly from your mobile device—no computer required.

User Experience

  • Uninterrupted Workflow for Notification Preferences: You can now update your preferences directly from the Leads page via a refreshed icon and without being navigated away, ensuring you never lose your place or your momentum.

  • Proactive Lead Validation: Save time by knowing exactly which leads are reachable before you start recording. The "Quick Video" and "Send/Share" buttons will now be greyed out if a lead contact info is incomplete (e.g., opted out of SMS, invalid email, no SMS or email). A clear explanatory message on the lead card will instantly tell you why a video cannot be sent, preventing any wasted effort.

  • Automated Script Assist: The Teleprompter and Email Script Assist now automatically pull Recipient Name and Vehicle Info directly from the Lead Card. Data is captured "as is".

Bugfixes

  • Resolved a crash that occurred on Android devices when a user attempted to log out.

  • Fixed an issue where the teleprompter script would occasionally skip immediately to the bottom of the screen.

Covideo Backoffice Updates

Enhancements

  • Additional email address to separate your CRM integration email communication from your internal business correspondence to ensure no important message gets lost.

    • Primary Email will now be used for internal updates from our Account Managers, usage reports, and general Covideo alerts, while additional email for dealer-to-customer communication.

  • Extended the expiration time for password resets and account invitations from 12 to 24 hours

  • CSV report to be sent via email from the Inventory, All Teams, Organization Reports, and Individual Video Analytics (CTA data) pages.

    • Logged-in user’s email is pre-filled but allows for manual editing.

  • Easier identification of AI-enabled users within large teams

    • Added an "AI Assistance" badge to the Users and Usage Admin pages.

  • MLM Account Maintenance

    • If an ML user no longer has any active accounts under their specific "umbrella," the system will now automatically remove them from that ML setup.

    • When an admin updates an account name, the change will now automatically reflect across both the "Customers" and "Locations" columns.

  • Custom Date Filters for SMS Conversations: More precision to your SMS inbox. You can now filter your conversation history using specific date ranges to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Bug fixes

  • Resolved a specific lag issue occurring when saving single webcam recordings to the library.

  • Resolved an issue where extra whitespace in first or last names (e.g., "John " vs "John") prevented VinSolutions users from being automatically mapped to Covideo.

  • Resolved an issue where the auto-capitalization feature incorrectly formatted last names with multiple uppercase letters.

  • Resolved an edge case where a "View" event was triggered as soon as a recipient landed on a Vidmail page, even if they didn't watch the video.

  • Fixed a bug where monthly used SMS counts failed to reset to 0 on the first of the month.
