If you have just recorded a video and you are not hearing any sound, you may have to check a few settings to make sure your microphone is set and working properly.  

  1. Web-based Recorder:
    - Make sure your volume on your computer is turned up and on.
    -
    Make sure before you record to check your video and audio sources. After clicking on the red record button underneath "My Videos", click on the gear icon at the top right of your web-cam. Make sure your microphone is selected from the drop down list.
    -Make sure you are in a compatible web browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox. 
  2. Google Chrome Extension:
    - Make sure your volume on your computer is turned up and on.
    -
    Make sure before you record to check your video and audio sources. Underneath the screen, camera, and both options, click on the microphone icon. Make sure your microphone is selected from the drop down list. 
  3. Mobile App:
    -
    Make sure the covideo app is allowed to access your phones camera and microphone. You can go into your phones settings>apps>covideo app>app permissions>make sure everything is allowed for covideo to access. See examples below for iPhones and Androids.
