When using our website overlay feature, the website takes place of a template for your video email.  Instead of playing inside of a template, the video is played on top of a website of your choice.

For an example, watch the video below:

Using this feature allows the recipient to close the video by clicking the "x" in the upper right corner of the video frame and have full access to the website. Using website overlay disables the Call-To-Action buttons.

Step-by-Step: How to Use Website Overlay

Step 1. Go to "Design" and select "Overlay URLs"

Click on "Add New" to add a website, Google Doc, PDF, or webpage.

Step 2. Add a title and the full URL

Some URLs might require iframes, please reach out to our support team if you think your website is blocking out the website overlay feature.

Step 3. Select a default URL

Fill in the circle to the left-hand side of your Overlay Title to make the URL your default website overlay option.

Step 4. Open up "Send + Share" in your video library

Before you share your video make sure you have "Website Overlay" in the Landing Pages field. If you have more than one website you can use the dropdown menu to select different URLs.

When you select website overlay, your video no longer has the option to have CTA buttons. To switch back to a video landing page, click the dropdown menu and select one of the templates.
